Big employer benefits stack: Oracle
Digital health companies love to boast how many Fortune 500 customers they have, but they aren’t always able to share which big companies offer their programs. That’s where E&O comes in. This recurring feature of E&O Wednesdays digs into a Fortune 500’s (or similarly-sized employer’s) digital health stack. So far, in past Wednesdays issues, I’ve written about the digital health benefits stacks of dozens of big companies. This searchable, sortable database over at the E&O site sums up the benefits stacks of more than 40 BigCos. This week I dug into the benefits stack of Oracle. For the most part, Oracle employees are on a plan administered by UnitedHealthcare, however, those Oracle employees living in certain parts of the country also have access to Kaiser Permanente plans.
Included Health for personal health assistants and care navigation
“Included Health (formerly known as Grand Rounds): Included Health is your personal healthcare assistant. Included Health will guide you to trusted doctors and services, help you get answers about medical conditions, and so much more – at no cost to you.”
In another part of Oracle’s marketing materials, the company gets into more specifics and pitches Included Health as a way to:
“Find trusted, in-network health specialists… Discuss symptoms, health issues, and medications… Handle your appointments and medical records… Get second opinions from medical experts… Make informed decisions about surgeries and treatment.”
Telehealth through AmWell
Oracle describes services from AmWell as being 24/7 and include virtual visits via a computer or mobile device with a “registered physician”, nutritionist, mental health professional, or lactation consultant.
Wellthy for caregiving support
“Caregiving is a full-time job that can put physical, emotional, and financial strain on you as an employee. Wellthy provides personalized support to help you tackle the logistical and administrative tasks of caring for the ones you love.”
Live and Work Well is Oracle’s EAP
Oracle’s EAP from Live and Work Well includes up to 10 counseling sessions per issue per year. The EAP’s available services are focused on “mental health, stress, life changes, grief, finances, and more.”
Rethink: Support program for kids with developmental challenges
“A free support program for employees with children or grandchildren who have learning, behavioral, social, or developmental challenges.”
Talkspace: Text-based therapy for UHC plan members
“An online text-based therapy program that allows you to regularly communicate with a therapist from your phone or desktop. You won’t have to go to an office, and your co-pay will be determined by the medical plan that you have enrolled in.”
Sanvello (UHC-owned): On-demand help for stress and anxiety for UHC plan members
“This useful application can help you find balance with a daily mood tracker, coping tools, guided journeys, community support, and more.”
Rally for losing weight, quitting tobacco, and more for UHC plan members
“Rally is an intuitive, personalized program with options for losing weight, reducing stress, quitting smoking, and much more.”
myStrength (Teladoc-owned): Mental and emotional wellness app for Kaiser Permanente plan members
“Set goals, work toward them, make positive changes in your well-being. myStrength includes interactive activities, daily health trackers, in-the-moment coping tools, and more.”
Calm: Guided meditation for Kaiser Permanente plan members
“Guided meditation, mindfulness to lower stress and anxiety, improve sleep.”
ClassPass: On-demand fitness classes for Kaiser Permanente plan members
“4,000+ free on-demand fitness classes that can be done from the comfort of your home.”
OK, that’s a wrap on Oracle’s benefits stack. Which BigCo should E&O dig into next? Hit reply if you have a suggestion.
